Many women are turning to dry body brushing while pregnant for an extra boost of energy. It is perfect to stimulation of the lymphatic system and enhances blood circulation.
Dry body brushing can help ward off stretch marks during pregnancy and assist in tightening your skin during your fourth trimester.
Our skin is the largest organ in our body and it can get sluggish during pregnancy as it is overworked.

• Proceed to your hands moving up your arms
• From your neck stroke down towards your heart
• Use circular clockwise strokes on your abdomen - This follows the path of your colon and helps stimulate elimination.
• Brush upwards from your lower back and down from your neck
Be extra gentle during pregnancy, especially the stomach, very light strokes or if it feels uncomfortable don’t brush the stomach at all.
This can be a beautiful time to set intentions while you brush your skin. Using mantras for you and your babies health and deepening connection, your baby will feel the love moving through you.
You may choose to massage your favourite organic oils like Almond oil onto your body before or after bathing.
